13) GREETINGS FOR THE DAY-EVERYDAY-1

Lavishly strewn flowers
Of magnificent hues
Exhaling
Enchanting and entrancing
Fragrances
And breezes
Singing hymns-
All for you, SAI NATH!

And I watch
Your sparkling smile
Empetalled with the halo
Emerging from the throne
Of infinite tenderness
Bathed in bondless mercy
For all your creation.

Thus I start my day
Everyday
And
My vision runs
To every particle
In the deserts and oases,
Plains and meadows
Glades and woods,
Hills and highs,
Storms and tempests,
Hails and hurricanes,
On the oceans and seas,
Rivers and streams-
Only to read
Your SIGNATURES
In the languages
Unknown and unborn,
In the lands
Unseen and undiscovered
Since the times
Recorded and unrecorded.









My faith is rejuvenated,
My reverence and obeisance,
Multiply manifold.
Mood of meditation
Hangs all the day
Amidst
The daily crush and cries
And they seem a non-entity
Leaving me in cheer.

There is a definite meaning
Which the visible
And the invisible
Reveals to realize and live
To strew lavishly those flowers
Of magnificent hues
Exhaling
Enchanting and entrancing
Fragrances
Among the paths
Of his creation-
So sweet!
I tell myself-
Life- I love you!

SAI,
Your coming hither
With love, lore and light
Cured the incurable,
Corrected the incorrigible,
Explained the inexplicable,
Revealed the unknown,
Calmed the qualms of conscience,
Showed the marvels
Of reverence and obeisance
To the great!




Taught all that is essential
In simple, sonorous and solemn
Notes falling from
Your lotus-like lips
Like lullabies
To soothe and silence
The crying children,
With all their pinks and purples
Painting and shading
Life with white, yellow and blue
Taking away the black
From the darkness
Of those who feel trapped
And ensnared
In the clash, conflict and crisis
In their simplicity and nobility
With no reason.

It pierces
Through their stability.
And crashes
Under their credulity.
And they rise up
From their fractured faith
And Satanic waste scattered around
With your blessings
And gain the strength
To surrender
To your love, lore and light.

I wish
And pray
To you,
SAI MAI,
For all that I want.
My patience, devotion and faith
Are on trial;
I must seek
Everything
From you.


I long for
Life of leisure
Amidst
Daily strains and stresses
Adding to my misery.
Endurance has exhausted,
My strength has sagged,
My limbs ache,
Deep sighs swell my bosom
And hurt my heart.
Sole solace is my soul
Wherein dwell
The soft, sweet smiling
And soothing SAI.

Everyday passes
Hiding pains in bold smiles;
Every evening struggles into night
Under fading crimson and grey;
Darkness wriggles out
To embrace the radiant dawn
Assuring me
Of bright beginning.

Assurances remain assurances.
Routine returns ready
Multiplying misery
Betraying hope of happiness.
But hope grows stronger
Than betrayal;
So does happiness.
Why? SAI explains
The forgotten and the unseen
In the scales of justice
That have ever been even
Even for Maalik Himself.

In the face of
