Grey Skies Poem by Pondering Portrait

Grey Skies

With heavenly grey skies
And their presence till tomorrow
With a depthless darkness
And the endlessness of sorrow
Sailing serenely, numbly
Through a fragile sea of calmness
Shutting eyes from these wrongs
And every broken promise

Wounded deep, way beneath
My unblemished skin
And the equivalence of pain in me
Is of venomous poison stings
And the torture of this all
Is engulfing and invading
Detached I find to my horror
Is the absence of all feeling
