Grilling Gaze Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Grilling Gaze

Grilling gaze-
Flesh, blood and bones
A thin material, slightly-
Opening and closing
With gauzy wings
Taking its dream flight.

Much taken aback
Amazingly dazed-
Human-life gracefully
Having b'n rewarded
Accepting eventually
Admitting the beat
Surrendering
To supernatural being
Or flesh, blood and bones
Of its own
When, something goes
Beyond one's control
What the people name
Under heavenly plan.

Fruit of earnest labour
Subsequent to-
Tuff and tough fights
Subjecting to-
Potency of will power
All for the survival
Struggle goes on-
A fight of life to live
Between birth and death.

First gaze for living
Fixing eyes on the mind
Vision and visualization
Valour and boldness
Without causing offence
An offence to others
A good reason to consume
Heart, mind and brain.

Resources to look young
Energetic and beautiful
Yet, not made up-
But, full of natural exposure
Amid nature and its treat.

But, oh! For that-
Where is personal touch?
With a new beginning
Curls and connections
Untainted repulsion
With a romantic tag
Of passionate scores
Of the inner strengths.

No risk option at all
After getting prepared
A right pitch for the flight
Creating a room for myself.
