Grin And Bare It Poem by Samantha Stough

Grin And Bare It

Word by word,
The future just rolls off my tongue
Faithless hymns
That I wish I had never sung

Eyes for eyes,
It's quite remarkable how life works
Hard to believe
That it can slowly kill what hurts

I beg your pardon,
I wish things could have stayed the same
Hush now hush,
Lets move on to bury the blame

Little by little,
It's easier to tear it
Step by step,
I learn to grin and bare it
