Growing Light Seeds Poem by Mohammad Younus

Growing Light Seeds

Growing light seeds
in the fields of my heart—
But where is the sun?
A thought stirs me within.

You are the sun,
if only you knew.
You generate your own rays,
illuminating the shadowed corners
of your soul's vast rooms.

Who do you love in the dark,
when the sun rests,
and the moon and stars emerge
to listen in silence,
as you sing your love songs
to the night's silence?

In the stillness,
your heart pulses with light,
Opens its ears to the divine whispers.
Even in darkness,
you are never alone—
for your light,
your love, your beacon light
guiding you home.
