Grown Cold Poem by Turuz Hautapu

Grown Cold

My eyes have stopped crying
My lips have stopped yearning
My brain has stopped spinning
My arms have stopped wanting
My body has stopped aching

My heart has grown cold.

I'm over the drama
I'm over the hurt
It's all been thrown to the wind
I know I'm going to miss you
But I'm not going to stop
I promise it wasn't about the money
It's about how I can't wait for you to grow up
And I can't handle our differences

Maybe in time we can be friends again
But I know now, at this moment,
We can't just because
I've grown cold.
