Guardian Angel Poem by Dave Alexander

Guardian Angel

You look so small and fragile, lost and alone,
Your feelings destroyed, your heart lays prone.
The tears flow from your beautiful blue eyes,
You’ve be crushed by all their hurtful lies.

The people who’ve hurt you, are destined for hell,
How could they leave you this sad, empty shell.
Your voice is small and fading, your spark has gone out,
I’ll help you find your voice again, I’ll help you shout.

I’m here to protect you, from everything that came,
From the wind and the rain, the hurt and the pain.
Show you that in life, love will find a way,
Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but one day.

Until then, I will look after you and keep you safe from harm,
There’s no need for fear, trepidation or alarm.
The future is bright, a great summers day,
Come with me and I’ll show you the way.
