Guardian Angel Poem by William Williams

Guardian Angel

Rating: 0.5

I'm nothing more than an angel.
But I've strayed so far from home.
It's been so many years,
Since I was called to the throne.

So I spend my time on this earth,
Drifting day to day,
Doing anything I can,
Helping others find their way,

So don't be alarmed,
If you hear footsteps in the night,
It's me guarding you closely,
From the demons that fill you with fright,

And as the world burns,
Know I'm with you for the ride,
No matter what you go through,
I'll stand here by your side,

I'm just a guardian angel,
And I can't get to the throne.
So for now where people need me,
I'll make that my home.
