Guardians Poem by Jack Bowen

Guardians

This I believe:
That angels shield
And guard each mortal when in need;
Veiled and curtained from man's view
Their presence ever near to you;
Thru stormy days and darkest night
They bring one peace, they bring the light,
And when we stand on sinking sand,
And all is lost, a gentle hand
Can free us from some deep abyss
Or lead us from a precipice;
So I believe, for I have known
Two guardian angels, both my own;
The heavenly father really knew
That I was one who needed two!
