It’s something beautiful and pure
Something everyone wishes would endure
When true, it’s at its prime
It’s a feeling that sticks with us for all time

Bold instead of being weak
Present in a lifelong relationship that we seek
We chase after it all our days
When many times it’s in our face

Many think they know its true meaning
But they’re blind to what they’re really seeing
It can’t be controlled or manipulated
If you try you’ll just be left brokenhearted

It appreciates people for being them
It is not something that would condemn
A feeling infinitely pure and sweet
There is nothing with it that can compete.
