Sitting near the river bank
Wondering where you've gone
Tears streaming down my face
As I'm singing my sad song
How could you be here one second
And swept away the next
How could life be so cruel
And yet it is still blessed
Thinking of the times we had
And how i could've saved you
Holding you close, staying by your side
But what else could i do
I should've seen your sadness
I should've felt your pain
Why was i so blind
There was so much for you to gain
Sometimes I hear your voice
And I think of my empty heart
I'm so sorry that you're gone
I'm so sorry that we're apart
Please forgive my mistakes
And take ther prayers I've given
And when we're reunited
Please guide my way to heaven
Very touching! You touched one of my nerves! I wrote a poem on heaven! It kinda like this! Keep writing! Lilly
