Guided Journey - Poem by Madelyn Yanchyshyn

Where it not for sorrow., I'd know not joy
Through sickness and sorrow
Came strength for tomorrow.

Were it nor for sadness,
I'd feel not happiness
Were it not for despair, I'd know not to care.

For 'twas in these deep valleys
I learned how to share
Getting stronger for burdens
I'd soon have to bear.

Were it not for these valleys
I'd feel not His hand
Nor would I see His perfect plan.

Twas walking through hardships
I learned how to stand
Each time being held by His mighty hand.

His hand that would lead me to higher ground-
So I could give to others this peace I have found.
