Gum Poem by china kelly

Gum

Rating: 5.0

My jaw clentches down on the cube shaped bubble gum.
My mouth moves in a circular motion to the gum.
Each bite I take with my teeth, makes a delicious squeeze of juice slime down my throat.
My brain is telling my body to 'chew' in a gear/factory like motion.
My taste buds are tingling by the taste of the gum.
My tongue is working like a transport system to move the gum to each side of my mouth.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
i wrote this poem in acting class. He told us to LIST the process of chewing gum but i must've not have been listening and instead i wrote a paragraph. Not thinking it was amazing, when my teacher read it, he thought it was Great.
