Ha Ha Ha Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Ha Ha Ha

Ha, Ha, Ha

Ha, ha, ha laughed I,
When I saw you running fast.
In all your eager fury,
You fell down at last.

But I knew that was not funny,
So I picked you up,
And patted the sand,
Off of your twisted hand.

But the important thing here,
Is that you tried.
You didn't even yell or cried.
You wanted to reach your goal.

So ha, ha, ha to me for laughing at you.
I wish I could've done it like you.
And I watched you pick yourself up,
And achieve your goal in finality.
