Habitat Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Habitat

The in
And out
Reflects
On the front
Of the house
From its porch
Like the human face
As an index of mind
That’s there the hut
Wherein
Human body resides
And this the body
Wherein
The Soul dwells.
Decor speaks
Itself about
Experiences
Of the life
As the Soul
Displaying
Dexterousness
And insight into
May be amassed
From several
Lives and deaths
Thereafter
Births and rebirths
And travel-trips
Of the Soul
A number of times
Each time on
Un-trodden paths
Drawings
Paintings
Pictures
And images
So gathered from
Setting up
The souvenirs.
