'Hadn't Been For You' Poem by Melissa Darsey

**Thank You Precious Lord, for the email I got to see,
And thank You God for everything, that You are able to do.
For finally getting published means everything to me,
Though it wouldn't have happened, if it hadn't been for You.
**But my moment has finally arrived, after years of patiently waiting,
I feel like it's been forever, that I had wished for this day.
And evev after I've been rejected, I'm anticipating,
But You, my Heavenly Father, You always come through when I pray.
**So again I thank You Father God, for I'm as happy as can be,
I am humbly blessed, that You've allowed my dream to come true.
And I thank You for being here, & not giving up on me,
For nothing would be possible, if it hadn't been for You.
