Girl. Don't you know that he's lost and been found?
You say that you've warned me and you'll laugh when I'm down
You say you see me crying, balled up on the floor
I say, 'Girlie, that fate is sooo yours'
You say that he's yours and will be forever
But all I'm thinking is: Girl, you ain't so clever
Time's passed
You've been deceived
For he hasn't been with you but rather with me
We've talked for days without end
Staying up through the night
Sweet kisses, warm hugs
Not even a single fight
Girl, don't mouth off of to me 'cause you ain't so bright
