Haiku Collection Poem by Ila Manish

Haiku Collection

trellis of branches
over the moon...
autumn eve

~~~
diyas adorn the season-
pools of gold
melting into the night
~~~

little boy
throws speckled stones-
ripples in the water

~~~
water glistens-
light bounces off
the mirror of spray
~~~

icicles...
little girl
shivering by the dying fire

~~~
red sand-
a gnarled branch rises
white amongst the brown
~~~

midsummer rain
frogs peep out and begin
their nightly chorus
