Nature's Song Poem by Ila Manish

Nature's Song

Morning flutters by my window,
A melody - airy and light;
Waking me up to
A gossamer delight.
As the Sun arrives,
The last of the Night is flushed
away - and the sky begins
A symphony in blush.

Strands of dew shimmer on the leaves,
Singing a requiem for summer,
Mirroring golden memories of the Sun,
And fierce robins in bicker.
Wrapped in clothes damp with winter,
Children sing a marching song.
The night draws, filling the nursery
With faraway fires and sing-alongs.

Fairies weave their silver webs
Across the night sky.
Their Queen - Hecate of the Heavens
serenades the river that flows silently by.
The winds seem to whisper
With the tiptoeing rains.
The world seems to sleep
Oblivious to Nature's myriad strains.
