Haiku - Volcanoes Poem by Germina Melius

Haiku - Volcanoes

a hot-headed volcano
refuses
to calm down

*
adorned in a lava-web dress
a widow mourns in ashes
when the sun touched earth

*
excited volcano
painting homes in ashes
lava melting portraits

*
vague portraits
memories a volcano took
shards of dust

*
darkness roars
a volcano jumps
awakening fear
