Haiku's 30/11/12 Poem by Mark. A Heathcote

Haiku's 30/11/12

Haiku's 30/11/12

after dusk, church bells
I walked through the graveyard
avoiding any slips
*

what a performance
the autumn leaf falls this year
it's like no other
*

on the horizon
a distant tree stands alone
my compass home
*

when no one came, I
had only my destiny
my birth, my grief, death
*

take care - my dear poets
your words have meaning
mountain spring water
*

poems are a river
flowing on their sacred course
oceans of applause
