Hail, Queen Of Heaven Poem by Kevin Rice

Hail, Queen Of Heaven

Rating: 5.0

Blessed Mary,
Queen of peace and the still heart
Matchless mother, guardian of our prayers,
Be heedful of our supplication.
Holiest of virgins,
Peerless patron, sovereign of souls,
In your compassion and tenderness
Favour your children
With your rich benediction

In your enfolding arms
May we discover
Our rest and our serenity.
Sweet advocate of weary hearts
Hearken to our smallest prayers
Accomplish our earthly hopes
May your eyes be upon us
That our yearnings be fulfilled

Cause of our joy, seat of wisdom
Mother of all mercies and sorrows,
Life-giving spring, purify us
In the fount of your perfection
Mystical rose,
God-bearer incomparable
Make clear for us the hidden paths
To our sure treasure
That we may gaze upon
His flawless majesty
Open our hearts
That we may succumb
To our deliverance.
