Antonio Williams Poems

born for a purpose,
he held to his course.
till his last drops,
he showed his love,
...

you looked at me and you saw a future,
a beautiful life of joy and wonder.
i looked at you and i saw torture,
greamy evenings with words of murder.
...

a lovely night,
as the moon shines brightly
as the wind's mouth is shut,
but opens slightly;
...

the sweetness of the summer sun
the beauty of a fresh flower,
the soothingness of birds melodies,
the spectacular beauty of a rainbow,
...

i can whisper in your ears,
silently, gently, smoothly,
when no one hears.
as you chase dreams slowly,
...

it was in the morning,
very eary in the morning,
listening very keenly,
i could hear the musicality
...

when i saw her, she was...
as tempting as the devil
and attractive as diamonds
as beautiful as a princess;
...

i watched 'e sun lazily dawn
i heard 'e birds' cheer laudy:
the new day break shine,
the new day break is sweet!
...

the sky was yellow
or so it seemed...
looking from a distance
everyone was mellow
...

When a child is born,
in the bliss and the excitement,
just like in a new day break,
with the uncertainity of the new day,
...

untainted fragrance in 'e air
of crimson pearls of red.
beauty blossoms by 'e touch,
awaiting glad receiving.
...

in the garden of love, i picked a fruit.
it looked so good, that you could smell its taste.
you could go on disagreeing that underating,
probably on the day of site seeing.
...

i remember when i saw you,
in your swinging slow gait
that left you seemingly floating.
oh! how my heart leapt a beat.
...

how I wished it to be true,
how I spent every minute;
every second of my life for you
how I thot you were perfect
...

15.

Death, oh death!
why would you scare me?
i heard of you, ran and hid.
you took friends of friends,
...

tell me our love was real
coz it feels that way still
tell new you found happiness
and the promises they said.
...

as the sun goes down,
i heard the crickets call,
one after another untiringly
bidding the day a goodbye
...

Though straight it looks crooked,
a corner turned, is a gift received,
looking for the city promised.
...

they turned you to a monster,
and rubbed your wounds open,
cursed did them your name,
and danced their thoughts of shame
...

oh, what a dark time!
how a bleeding heart aches
how it beats so slowly
but strongly shakes to the core
...

On The Cross

born for a purpose,
he held to his course.
till his last drops,
he showed his love,
and gave what i have
on the cross he saved me.
from the time he was proven,
to the judges him not shaken,
the truth was his shield,
and love his sword.
for him i am not a coward!
on the cross he saved me.
