Half As Long, Twice As Bright Poem by Arstus W.

Half As Long, Twice As Bright

Half As Long
Half as long,
Twice as bright,
The hero that lives half as long,
Will die twice as bright.

A hero's good deeds will not be forgotten,
Their tale will be told far and wide,
Putting their life on the line all the time,
All for the better of humanity.

A hero's life is always endangered,
Not many live their life to the fullest,
Fighting till their last breath,
Until they meet their untimely demise.

When a hero meets their end,
The world itself weeps,
But a hero always leaves a legacy behind,
Until the next hero shines twice as bright.
