We're slowly sinking in the deep sea,
Drowning in the dark abyss,
Nothing but the feeling of emptiness,
Not a sign of light anywhere.

Light is a scarce thing in the abyss,
When light shines through,
It is a sign of hope to us sailors,
A sign that keeps us going.

One day we will arise from this dark abyss,
When that day comes,
We will sail back to everything good in our lives,
With our ship ready for the long trip ahead,
We'll chant while we're sailing through the raging sea.

We are the sailors of the Light,
The Light will guide us home,
Never again will we return to the abyss,
The abyss had trapped us,
But the Light has set us free.
