Half Truth, Half Lie Poem by Lacie Hebert

Half Truth, Half Lie

Everything you say is half truth, half lie,
Just enough real to keep me tied.
You say you love me, but you never prove,
You say you're loyal, but your actions move.

Half truth, half lie,
That's how you keep me by your side.
Half love, half pain,
That's how you pull me back again.

You say you're honest, but you twist the facts,
You say you're better, but you still act.
Like I'm the problem when you're the cause,
You break the rules, then blame my flaws.
