Halfway House Poem by E. Pendragon

Halfway House

It was in twilight glades between my fears and successes you would find me,
From your mouth would pour sunbeams and rainclouds,
Often to encourage my spent heart to grow.
It was in that halfway house of madness and brilliance that you accepted me,
Opened a door to my unseen,
Yet it was my strength to leave where I had been.
