Hall Of Empty Melodies - Poem by Steven Copley

In the dark
I walk the Hall
Of Empty Melodies
Trying to Find the Gate to
My memories
Long ago Forgotten
Opening the Gate
With an Unique key
Suddenly Haunted by my own Past
I become Terrified
Songs of Death and Despair
Waiting for Me
Using all my Strength to close the Door to Darkness
It begins to Close
But new darkness Bursts out
Leaving me Weak and Weary
I finally Give up
Too tired, Time for my Rest
I secure my Eyes
To pierce my own Darkness
