Halloween Poem by Boonk Jackson

Halloween

We have a single day each year where we can be whatever we wannabe
Dress up and I can be you or you can be me
Be as frightening as a zombie
As hood and thug like a homie
Something you always dreamed to be
A successful surgeon on TV
Maybe your favorite celebrity

The most fruitful night for sweets
Where the kids eat out their teeth
Don’t try to be too grown
This is also a day for the clown

Some say it represents the devil day
But don’t we all have a little in us anyway
So on this one day lets celebrate
Use this day to wash the evil away
Start new as if it’s the first of January

Happy Halloween to everybody!
