Life Or Poetry Poem by Boonk Jackson

Life Or Poetry

Take my words and convert them to life’s inner importance
As I begin to make a piece, revelations of evolution comes to the senses
The concepts of the mind begin to expand as far as the galaxy
Ink and paper is considered right, so why can’t all colors be an parity
We take our felt tips and elopes it with paper to create a babies known as alphabets
Next all is to do is watch them mature from premature words to vets
They then began to make acquaintances or posses of lower or equal importance
Which in turn promotes people skills that helps them stick together and form a sentence
We as the originator of these new lives have a mammoth responsibility
To not dumb down everything or short change our progeny with slang rip-offs of mediocrity
The sky is clear as the insight of the poets mind frame
Cloudy if the poet has too much in their thoughts or brain
And dark skies for those that has witnessed life’s torture and or pain
These words and rhymes we use nurture the souls of our being
Like the mother depends on the elements to keep her rotating
The creativeness of words floats thru our heads
Similar to underwater creatures of a pond, sea or river bed
A breath of fresh air originate from the release of thoughts to manuscripts of art
Life is to poetry as poetry is to life to take one without the other is separating the host and the heart
