Halloween Costume Poem by Andrew Dabar

Halloween Costume

Another wolf in disguise
A pair of glowing eyes
Oh, cute little boy
Small as a toy
Let go of his hand
He's a bad, bad man
Run little Jack, run!
As fast as you can
You're not the gingerbread man
Tonight, you're superman!
Flap your cape
Fly to escape
Or hide in a bush
Please stay quiet—shush!
The good guys are coming
The streets are now humming
With cars, dogs, guns, and men
One who calls your name again and again
Jack be nimble! Jack be quick!
Run to the light of her candlestick
