Snowfall Poem by Andrew Dabar

Snowfall

Thoughts of you fall silently
like flakes of snow throughout the day.
One by one and one on top of the other
they connect, and they stick, and they cover
this tarnished place with a blanket of beauty
that is clean and white and bright
full of laughter and fun.

And through this window I stare out,
breath steaming and heart pounding
with the excitement of a child
longing to run into you.
