Halt Life! (Sonnet #93) Poem by Tina Baaklini

Halt Life! (Sonnet #93)

Halt life! Wait! Why are you running?
Happy days await us just around the corner.
Childish laughters promised to fill our chests,
Be kind, slow down, our dreams need to flower.

Halt life, my soulmate is coming to stay,
Endless vows our hearts will share by the shore.
We shall run through countless daisy fields this May,
He's my sweet love, the one I adore.

Tell me, sweet love, is Earth our place to be?
Or shall we meet in the seven skies?
Soulful love is meant for eternity,
For true love between hearts knows no goodbyes.

On Earth, we weave love, joy, and tenderness,
In Heaven, we'll cherish this eternal bless.
