Handfuls Of A Beige Leafiness Poem by james watkin

Handfuls Of A Beige Leafiness

Handfuls of a beige leafiness
Blotting indiscriminate
Swans of Bruges, a walled abode's
Canal-shades illuminate.

Fanning which chaotic mess
Through snowy airs, to scan
For townscapes' light, thickly, richly
Was layered on, Bavarian.

Spoilers, spied out from the clouds
Of Day's perfect-picturing
As invigoraters newly met!
One's second look assuring.
