Among distant lands,
she thirsted for happiness,
around hills and vallies,
under beautiful shady trees.
In the sky,
and above the soil.
On strange faces
and beneath each smile,
her innocence,
hunted for Happiness Lost.
Then someday,
among remote cottages,
a silence spoke,
'Not thy lips,
nor thy face,
thy soul is where happiness resides'.
she thirsted for happiness, valleys, trees, sky, beneath each smile, innocence she sought for happiness. thy soul is where happiness resides'. very fine conclusion dear poet. love it.. a fine read..... tony
