Dear me,
where did i lose you?
And where shall I find you?
Yesterday is a treasure lost
so, why did you stay there?
Somewhere in my memories,
there you hide,
but when shall I seek you?
That innocence,
in your eyes,
my New World ruined that.
That merry-making,
amongst thoughts is lost.
For today,
I do see that childhood,
but all scattered,
just like the scattered sand,
I used to play with.
Scattered sand..... congrats on being chosen.... a highest 10++++++
Dear me, where did i loose you? And where shall I find you? A poignant song of childhood reflection.
Hi Maida, Very nice to see you on ph. Congrats on being selected poet of the day. Especially, for this beautiful poem on childhood, nostalgia... Loved reading... Looking forward for more.. 100++
As a child I felt myself to be alone, and I am still, because I know things and must hint at things which others apparently know nothing of, and for the most part do not want to know
I do see that childhood / but all scattered, just like the scattered sand / I used to play with.... Immaculate style and an amazing portrayal of childhood phase of life which has become a part of history.
Great poem about childhood which is nothing but a bunch of memories in the corridor of life. This is a wonderful poem indeed. Thanks, Maida. where did i lose you? .... And where shall I find you? That innocence.... That merry-making,
thank you sir... when God blesses a teacher and guide like you... everything is possible....thank you sir...#ashraf sir...
