Happiness Or Safety



Please don't go,
please don't leave.
I'm sorry that I hurt you,
I only wanted to protect you,
from this oh so cruel world
that has taken so many lives,
and so much happiness.

I wanted you happy,
but i wanted you safe.

In this world,
no one can have it both ways.
