Happy Birthday, Indeed! Poem by Denis Martindale

The little girl known as Amazing Grace
became a Christian on this very day,
United Nations Day, the year before,
thanks to her parents attending the
Grace Baptist Church. They named their
baby girl as Grace because they were so
blessed there.

When Grace returned from school, she was
greeted at home by Mum and Dad as they
sang Happy Birthday to her. She stood
amazed as her birthday was April the 11th.
So her parents told her that she got born again
a year ago. This was a new birthday tradition
they would celebrate for years.

Do you remember your born again birthday?
Some do, some don't. Who knows if the
angels of Heaven sing Happy Birthday just for
you? As we approach the new Christmas Day,
we can thank God that Halloween is well and
truly over and that the Gospel of Jesus Christ
can be sung by God's angels and little girls
like Amazing Grace...
