Happy Birthday To A. Einstein Poem by Sumit Ganguly

A meteor entered our sky in 1921
Theory of relativity made a tour of the globe
The flash of light liquefied the night
Pygmies and giants were startled alike
Brightness, speed and heat dazzled the eyes
Subsequent stalwarts could measure
Impacts of meteoric emissions, like
Elasticity of space, particle energy.
The meteor passed away,
But Albert Einstein glows for ever.*

*Albert Einstein was born on 14.3.1879, passed away on 18.4.1955. Nobel Prize was awarded to him in 1921. He also received 5 medals and became Time Person of the Century, posthumously in 1999.
He had published 300 scientific papers and 150 non-scientific
works. He was a very good violinist.
