I'm glad to have a friend like you,
Whose friendship lasted years;
We went through thick and thin of life,
Although we changed our gears!

A friend like you is rare a find;
I'm happy God gave you;
Sans you, life could have been a bore;
To both, God has been kind.

Let's hope our friendship strong does stay,
As long as we live here;
Remaining so, let's always pray,
And take care not to err!
