I wish you a very blessed birthday, my darling.
I wish I could open my heart to say more,
To express the deep words that are floating there,
Through the main thoroughfare.
I’d have talked to you about the upcoming spring,
The places that I would be visiting by myself, dear;
There I’d be doing plenty, including changing the color
Of the vestibule door.
I f only I were free, I’d be with you day and night.
We’d be having a lot of fun and enjoying life.
Oh! I must stop daydreaming, and quit hallucinating,
My friendly darling.
If I only I could be myself around you, I’d sing,
Like the legendary master singer, Nat King Cole,
I would exhume myself out of the mole,
Like a celestial herring.
Nevertheless, I can feel the happiness of my heart.
You are far away from me, but we are not apart.
With all the blood of my heart, I am wishing you
A very joyous birthday, my sweet honeydew.
