Happy Times Poem by Shalini Samuel

Happy Times

The moments when my soul smiled
Ah, they were the best seconds of my life
Actions or words - there is always something special
My world felt like tasting tea after a ginger biscuit.

Happy times go into a timeless box
Opening up whenever you need support
Is it God's hand healing us?

Now, I look for people who can give me smiles
And for experiences that bring bliss

And definitely it's not in any sweet poison

In this quest, I found
to be a river is the way
touching life like admiring it
and keep moving on

treasuring the best
and shaping them into priceless pebbles
Yet never holding on to them
But leave them at their safest haven.

Happy Times
