Why are the lakes dry
Why aren't the babies crying
How come the soldiers are shy
Why isn't it raining
Why are the clouds red
Why are the waters draining
Why haven't the plants been fed

Why aren't the people in their workplaces
Why isn't the horse for riding
Why do we have two faces
What are we all hiding
Why aren't the foes quarrelling
Why are they at peace
Why aren't our faces telling
Who are we trying to deceive

When will the truth be disclosed
When will cats be pawless
When will the bad kings be deposed
When will our good deeds be countless
What is the president up to
Why is parliament against it
What will all this add up to
What are we doing about it?
