Hard Knocks University Poem by Susan Sparks

Hard Knocks University

Verse one:
Hard Knocks University
Where knowledge is high-priced
No professors or lecture halls
Hard lessons learned for life

Verse two:
Hard Knocks University
Don't haf to buy no books
Everything taught is by experience
No special favors for your looks

Chorus:
Hard Knocks University
When your done gettin' all dirty
Gettin' knocked to the nth Degree...
Hard Knocks University

Verse three:
Hard Knocks University
Where there are no lesson plans
All's learned with sweaty brow
And weathered, calloused hands

Repeat chorus:
