Haunted Poem by Diya Bhudia

Haunted

The stars are covered by heavy clouds
A breath whispers by my ear
'Hush my child mommy's here for you'
A thunder strikes and the clouds cry out of pain.
I hide under my pillow and try to sleep
But something just won't...
As the clock strikes 3 a sudden realization pops
Momma went up when I was born
Who was she then?
