Haunting Lullaby Poem by Lilith Van'Nightinveil

Haunting Lullaby

In the darkness of the night,
Where shadows dance and hearts take flight,
A lullaby whispers through the trees,
A haunting melody that's sure to please.

It sings of love and loss and pain,
Of tears that fall like endless rain,
Of dreams that fade and hopes that die,
Of broken hearts and shattered sky.

The eerie notes drift on the breeze,
A mournful sound that's sure to please,
As they weave a web of sorrow and woe,
That tugs at the heartstrings, heavy and low.

But even in this darkness deep,
There's beauty in the shadows that creep,
A softness in the eerie tune,
That sings of hope to come soon.

So let the tears fall and the heartstrings tug,
As the lullaby sings of love,
For even in the darkest night,
There's beauty in the haunting sight.
