Gandhi, Gandhi, Gandhi,
Mahatma Gandhi on everything,
Seeing it,
Sometimes think I,
Have we Gandhi-ized history,
Gandhi in economics, history, art and culture,
Gandhi’s life in miniature and frescoed,
Gandhi on currency notes,
Where is Gandhi not?

Gandhi standing at the town square,
Gandhi striding,
Gandhi in statues and torsos,
On seeing it,
Think I,
Was there none before him,
A world without Gandhi,
A world with Gandhi,
The difference?
