Have You Poem by J.T. Derouen

Have You

My dreams gave me comfort
Not anymore
When I met you
My dreams seemed so silly
You gave me a bigger one
I didn't want to be cool
Or to be the best
Or even to be loved by everyone
I'd rather be hated
Then to not have you

This poem is so very true... There have been many times when I have thought of giving up on my dreams because they were just dreams. But that is not the case as all fear is that in which you do not desire to happen while dreams are those in which you do desire to happen. I believe that every dream can come true if you believe it can. I would rather be hate for who I am than loved for who I am not. If that means having the lord in my life over friends then so be it.
