He smiles for me no more.
For what he once felt has gone away.
He longs for me no more
For he stepped back and gone his way..

He no longer loves
no longer does he care...
He no longer has me on his mind.
He has lost all faith
and has left all hopes of us behind.

My recklessness
was beyond his comprehension
and so another bruise was added to
my broken heart
He came and went
not realizing a small piece of me he tore apart...

But just as every day there's sunrise and a sunset..
I reminisce on the beautiful memories
that he left..

It helps me live bit more peaceful.
Imagining that one day he shall return.
In the meantime
I don't take for granted
the lesson learned....
