He - Poem by neha raj singh

Hidden from the world
curled in the corner
he persists to live.
His reality, his existence
dwells in vivid colours of a picture.
Warmth in his eyes
love in his heart
yet shelled in an iron cage.
Hurt by a friend,
shattered by his love
yet he grows stronger.
The sunrise, the flowing wind,
a dropp of water are his chosen companions.
He speaks, he writes
but is saying nothing.
To capture is his art
his art is beauty.
but it is all he has.
Never does he break
head held high he walks on.
Hindered he is not by the trivial actions of another.
He knows what he wants,
he will get what he wants.
His passion is all he has.
He charms his way into the
hearts of his companions,
mystified by him they lean closer.
Yet the closer he seems the further he is.
He teaches you to love,
to believe,
to trust,
but he runs from you till it aches
for he is hollow.
Watch him from a far,
love him, respect him
give him the gift of patience.
He yearns for your touch
but doesnot linger close enough.
Push not upon him for his reality cannot hold you.
He hopes for you to wait,
for he will come to you.
He holds you to his heart.
Be not crude
for he is a man.
He is I,
He is you.
